Watch Humberto Soto vs. Motoki Sasaki Live Online

WBC lightweight champ, Humberto Soto (55-7-2, 32 KOs) will be staying busy with a voluntary defense of his belt this Saturday night against Japan’s Motoki Sasaki (36-8-1, 23 KOs) at the Parque AndrĂ©s Quintana Roo in Cozumel, Quintana Roo, Mexico.
In his last bout, he won a unanimous 10-round decision over Fidel Monterrosa Munoz at the 140 lb. limit. Sasaki, despite getting this shot at Soto’s lightweight crown, has never actually fought at the 135 lb. limit.
Soto won the title in March, 2010, and has made three successful title defenses, which include one of the best fights of the year in 2010 – a 12-round decision win against Urbano Antillon on December 4. Soto, 31 years old, is also a former WBC super featherweight world champion and has now won 11 fights in a row.
Sasaki, 35 years old, is the Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) super lightweight champion. He won the title in July, 2010, and has made two successful title defenses. He is also a former OPBF welterweight champion – he won that title in February, 2008, and made three successful title defenses. Also:
